Over the past 6 years I’ve worked with hundreds of clients and held discovery calls with literally hundreds more potential clients.
I was looking through the discovery call notes recently (because I keep notes on everything!) and noticed how many people are essentially looking for a strategy for their Social Media.
MAGIC PILL ANYONE?
What entrepreneurs want (really) is a magic formula that will get them results with minimal work and preferably a low learning curve when it comes to the tech!
– They want clarity and to know what to focus on and what they can ignore.
– They want to know they can get results and see measurable return on investment for their time (and in some cases money)
– They want an action plan which shows them where to start, how to get the biggest bang for their buck, and how to avoid “getting it wrong” or “saying the wrong thing”.
This is, of course, what I deliver (and live and breathe!) as a Digital Marketing Mentor.
Crafting a bespoke success strategy for each client is my “thing”.
But there’s one important piece of the puzzle that’s often overlooked.
DON’T MISS THIS CRUCIAL STEP
Creating a strategy is not a one-time and done process.
It’s not a plan that you print off, tick off your list and stick on the shelf.
It’s a living, breathing entity that will evolve over time, just like your business plan (should).
HOW TO CREATE BETTER CONTENT & MORE EFFECTIVE MARKETING
So how do you know what’s working and where to focus your time?
- Which type of posts are driving the most traffic to your website?
- Is Facebook or LinkedIn generating more leads?
- Should you focus on Instagram because you get more interaction there, even though you’ve had no enquiries yet?
The answer is to create a strategy, test it, and then see what’s working.
Adjust and refine as necessary.
Then rinse and repeat.
BINGO! An evolved and effective strategy that lets you work less while generating more leads and revenue.
